Who is responsible
Dr Arian Alvandpour, operating QuickMSE, is the controller for the personal information described in this notice. Contact quickmse@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
MSE content stays in your browser
MSE selections, free text and generated wording stay in the current browser page state while the builder is open. QuickMSE is designed not to send that content to its server or place it in URLs, logs, cookies, browser storage, analytics or error-reporting services. Refreshing or closing the page discards the current work.
If you use a copy button, your browser writes the selected wording to your device's clipboard. Your device and the application into which you paste it control the content after that point. Do not enter patient-identifiable information into QuickMSE.
Website delivery and technical information
Vercel hosts QuickMSE. To deliver and secure the website, Vercel receives technical request information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser details, requested page, date and time, and response information. QuickMSE does not load a tracking analytics client, advertising pixels, session replay or marketing trackers, and does not deliberately set non-essential cookies.
On the current Vercel Hobby plan, runtime logs are available to the QuickMSE operator for up to one hour. Vercel may retain other service-generated information for the periods described in its own privacy notice. Vercel's published Data Processing Addendum states that its processor terms apply to Pro and Enterprise customer data; QuickMSE does not claim that those terms cover this Hobby project.
Feedback email
Sending feedback is optional. If you email QuickMSE, the message may include your email address, name, message and ordinary email metadata. It is handled through a consumer Gmail mailbox under Google's published privacy terms; QuickMSE does not claim a Google Workspace Data Processing Addendum for this mailbox. Do not include patient-identifiable information or urgent clinical matters.
Ordinary feedback is deleted after 12 months through a quarterly review. A message may be kept for longer only where a specific legal, safety or security reason is documented.
Purposes and legal basis
QuickMSE relies on legitimate interests to make the public website available, maintain its security, prevent abuse and respond to feedback. The interests are operating a safe, useful professional documentation aid and understanding or correcting reported problems. Website request information is needed to deliver the pages you request; providing feedback is voluntary. QuickMSE does not sell personal information or use it for automated decisions about users.
Recipients and international transfers
Technical website information may be processed by Vercel and its service providers. Feedback email may be processed by Google and its service providers. Processing may occur outside the UK. Vercel and Google state that they participate in the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and use other safeguards where required. Their current information is available in the Vercel Privacy Notice, Google Privacy Policy and Google transfer framework.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or ask for its use to be restricted. You may also ask for information about how it is used. Contact QuickMSE at the address above. A response will normally be provided within one calendar month.
Right to object: because QuickMSE relies on legitimate interests, you may object to the processing of your personal information. QuickMSE will consider the circumstances and stop unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or the information is needed for legal claims.
Concerns and complaints
If you have a privacy concern, please contact QuickMSE so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the ICO; the ICO recommends giving the organisation an opportunity to put matters right first. Information is available at ico.org.uk.
